When you want all ages to enjoy the sun and fun, these are the best multi-generation resorts of Los Cabos.

Playa Grande

Located on the quiet Solmar Beach on the Pacific side but close to all the activities, this resort has multiple restaurants, a kids club, spa and mini golf. A wide variety of suites with kitchens and balconies are yours to choose from. You can take advantage of the all inclusive options as well. This colorful fun resort will make everyone happy with the Cabo Dolphin Center, marina and downtown just a short walk away. 

Pueblo Bonito Rose

The Rose in the heart of Medano Beach and has a protected beach so swimming in the bay is an option. The Pueblo Group has free transportation between their three resorts with gives numerous dining and pool options. The all inclusive option can be for part or all of your stay. All the water activities are on site and town is a short walk down the beach or on the street. 

Villa del Arco

On the famous Medano Beach on the Bay of San Lucas Villa del Arco is one of three resorts that make up the Villa Group. This newest addition has a sunken pirate ship with restaurant in the pool overlooking Land’s End. Various sized condos with kitchens and an all inclusive option tailors your vacations. A trolley car moves you around the three resorts located far enough away from the crazy Mango Deck but close enough to other resorts to be part of the scene. Enjoy water activities right on the beach as well as lots of shows and themed nights at the resort so everyone can enjoy an active Cabo family vacation.

Dreams Los Cabos

If an all inclusive resort away from the crowds is on your list, this is a great family resort option. Located mid-way in the corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose along a nice stretch of beach. The resort has multiple pools, restaurants, bars and tennis near Cabo Real Golf Course. Take advantage of the adults only pool and bar if you are looking to have some quiet time. 

Grand Fiesta Americana

This upscale family resort is quiet large and sprawling which gives you great views and plenty of pools and dining options. Also offering an all inclusive option so everyone can be on their own schedule and eat and drink to your hearts content. The Fiesta Resorts are known for their service levels and the Grand is their top level, prepared to be impressed. Located within the Cabo del Sol community with two great golf courses, walking trails and a long strand of sandy beach.

This appropriately named surf hotel has a privileged location on the Playa Acapulquito surf break called “Old Man’s”. Here at Cabo Azul there are three legendary breaks for various skill levels. The beginner break out front can get dicey with bigger swells but has been a favorite for all levels, especially with Mike Doyle Surf School on site. The California style hotel has been recently expanded and can accommodate large groups. A great pool and restaurant as well as an easy to explore from location make this one hard to beat if you are needing a great surf vacation.

Villa Santa Cruz

If smaller and more intimate is on your short list for surf vacations, this one adds luxury and comfort to the mix. With only 4 amazing suites it is recommended to take the whole place but still nice for just the two of you. A perfect couples retreat, the romance factor will win you points whether you are the surfer and your husband is the lounger by the pool or visa versa. Future expansion plans and new restaurant won’t diminish the privacy factor as they have a huge 20 acre lot and nearly no neighbors. A short walk gives you two local surf breaks with a few more in the area so rent a car and get busy. Don’t miss the tree house inspired double-decked palapa with a cozy upper lounge. Anticipate an amazing complimentary breakfast prepared and served by the gracious owner, Matt. 

The Cape Hotel

One of the top 5 Luxury Resorts of Los Cabos also comes in as a great surf hotel. While “Monuments” surf break is a gnarled, rocky, urchin infested left break it is a favorite for it’s power and amazing view of Land’s End and Cabo Bay. Better have your game on or just watch the action from the infinity pool with a cold infused beverage of choice. The contemporary rooms all have jaw dropping views and sunsets. Styled in chic modern designs, this resort is a favorite for young hip adults who can dance the nights away at the rooftop terrace, lounge and bar. 

Vida Soul

For those east Cape surf trips there is an alternative to rustic camping with the modern and contemporary Vida Soul Hotel. A striking contrast to the desert this boxy white monolith rises above the Sea and its deep blueness. The design has minimalist appeal and cushy memory foam beds to ease those weary muscles and rejuvenate the soul. Many surf breaks and few people make this an epic getaway. Enjoy Nine Palms and Ship Wrecks nearby with many other unnamed areas to consider. The on site restaurant is excellent. Surf and SUP board rentals, bikes and kayaks on site make it easy to explore the region and enjoy the wonderful East Cape of Los Cabos.

Cerritos Surf Town

Located on the Pacific side 40 miles north of Cabo San Lucas lies the micro beach town, Los Cerritos. This fast growing area is popular since the beach is wide and gradual so the shallow water gives all levels of surfing, boogie boarders and body surfers something to enjoy. These series of palapa topped villas range from studios, 1 to 2 bedroom villas complete with kitchens and living areas. The enormous pool with restaurant has an impressive seafood swim up bar. Local surf shack for rentals and lessons are on site as well.
